ABOUT AMA TRANSPORTERS 

With an interest in camping and the outdoor life and being a fully qualified auto technician, I took my passion for Volkswagen one stage further than a hobby and started converting vans for customers instead of just for myself. Starting off in a small workshop it did not take long before larger premises were needed. 

 

AMA Transporters Ltd are now based in a 3000sq foot fully secured workshop with all the essential equipment. 

 

We always take time listen to what the customer wants and combine this with our experience to design a camper that is as individual as each customer. All of our cabinets are hand made in house. For this reason the conversions listed on this website are not set in stone, more an idea of a starting block. The final design is entirely down to you the customer. 

 

Incorporated into all of the conversions are top quality materials such as Vohringer, Smev, Waeco, Sargent etc. As an authorised Alpine retailer we also offer Audio upgrades offering headunits from Alpine and ampflifiers, speakers & subwoofers from the Eletromedia group (Audison, Hertz & Rainbow) 

 

As well as the interior conversion, we also carry out lowering and supply & fit alloy wheels. 

 

We are in a position to be able to offer everything required to turn your van into a high quality, luxury bespoke camper. 

 

We operate an open door policy, so if you would like to come to the workshop to check progress or take photos of your vans journey, or if you are thinking about booking in and would like a look around, just give us a ring, you are more than welcome.
